Homebody Hive provides movement, living and well-being classes and workshops with the goal of empowering others to thrive. In my fifty years of living, I've learned the hard way that we can't silo these areas of our lives. They're all interconnected, like a hive. I spent many years going through the motions of what I "should" be doing and it wasn't until I put it all together that I started truly feeling ALIVE. My goal is to empower others to do the same.
At the center of my hive is a practice that I've developed to help manage life and energy and overall well-being, called the Well Framework. It helps to prioritize what's important and be more intentional about how one uses their time. It allows one to live a more meaningful life, filled with joy and purpose. I'll be offering workshops teaching this practice in January. Stay tuned!
Another central component of my hive is Foundation Training, which I teach in my wonderful New Jersey coastal community. Through a series of body-weight exercises, Foundation Training activates your posterior muscle chain, anchors the hips, decompresses the spine, and teaches you to take the burden of supporting the body out of your joints and put it where it belongs; in your muscles. No matter your age or your fitness level, Foundation Training puts you on the path to wellness.
